Toy Drive for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles

Based on the great success of the DVD Drive that you helped with for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) over the summer, we wanted to once again reach out for your help to provide toys for chidren in the hospital this holiday season.

These children need help and support.  At the hospital, many of the kids endure things that we as adults could never imagine.  Small things like DVDs and toys make a big difference to these children as they and their families try to remain upbeat and deal with the health issues that affect not just the child, but the entire family.

CHLA gives out approximately 500 to 600 toys per week to the children.  The hospital gives a toy to a child for each week the child is in the hospital, for every procedure or surgery the child has, on the child’s birthday, if the child is unable to bring toys from home, and of course during the holidays. The hospital’s toy inventory is comprised entirely of items generously provided by donors.   With the holiday season approaching the need for toys is even greater.
