Go Giants

As if my life wasn’t already too good to be true (sarcasm ; ) the NY GIANTS have won the Super Bowl. I repeat. The New York Giants have won the Super Bowl.

I can’t even believe it. I mean… like every NY Giants fan, I had a gut feeling they were gonna pull off some major upsets throughout the playoffs, and even in this Super Bowl. But I was just getting used to the fact that we were even playing in the Super Bowl at all… then to have them take down the unbeaten Patriots. Great Stuff.

I am sorry to all you New Englanders but, really, I think the Giants just had a better game plan and executed better in the end (obviously). The Giants defensive line of Strahan, Tuck, Umenyiora, Pierce… I think are far superior than any others in the game. And with a high pressure pass rush, Tom Brady doesn’t even have time to wait for Randy Moss to sprint down the field to get open. And yes that does mean, if Strahan comes back, the Giants have a great chance of a repeat.

Now if the Knicks could go back to the Ewing, Oakley, Houston, days I would be in ecstasy. (Leave me alone with enough Toblerone and I may just not stop smiling for an entire year).

I even went to the parade today throughout the city….well, kinda,… we walked around the city for an hour and a half, kept missing the parade route because cops were everywhere closing down streets left and right. It eventually got so bad, the cops were on horses pushing people to the sidewalks with the side of the horses and their asses. So yeah, I guess it just gets better. You know, ’cause I didn’t get stepped on by the horses, NOR did I step in anything the horses had left behind ; )
