KTA Sets Sail
August 13th, 2007
That was one hell of a weekend….
We just played our very first KTA Concert Cruise and I swear it was one of the best times I’ve had playing a show ever. Marc, Jon, Mike, and I may have played our best set ever and everyone there was having a blast.
When we heard that tickets Sold Out almost 2 weeks in advance, we were so psyched to rock with everyone, and you guys didn’t let us down! THANK YOU to everyone that bought your tickets early and came out to rock on the water with us.

Our set was Super Sized, so we got to have some fun and play a couple of cool cover songs (Marley, Black Crowes, K’s Choice) and bring out some of our favorite Granian tunes like “Mark My Words”, “Contagious”, “If It’s What You Want” and On My Own”.
My buddies in Honor By August from DC opened the show with a killer set although I think I saw Mike almost fall over more than couple of times

The following night we went down to Arlington, VA for another show now opening for Honor By August at Iota.
Iota’s a great club, but if you can believe it, KTA blew shit up. Seriously. The sound system went completely dead in the middle of the set. I immediately thought back to the last time this had happened to me, when I stepped right out into the middle of the audience standing on a table and played the rest of the set completely acoustic. So naturally… I asked Marc to bring his snare drum and seat up font and we were about to rock the place with a “living room show” style version of “Shout it Out Loud” when the power came back on. Saved??? Ahhhhh…. I kind of wish the sound stayed down for a little bit longer ; ) But we picked right back up from where we left off at the second verse.
